Real-Space Observation of Magnon Interaction with Driven Space-Time Crystals

چکیده
The concept of Space-Time Crystals (STC), i.e. translational symmetry breaking in time and space, was recently proposed experimentally demonstrated for quantum systems. Here, we transfer this to magnons demonstrate a driven STC at room temperature. is realized by strong homogeneous micro-wave pumping micron-sized permalloy (Py) stripe directly imaged Scanning Transmission X-ray Microscopy (STXM). For fundamental understanding the formation STC, micromagnetic simulations are carefully adapted model experimental findings. Beyond mere generation observe magnonic band structure due back folding modes STC's Brillouin zone boundaries. We show interactions with that appear as lattice scattering. This results ultra short spin waves down 100 nm wavelength cannot be described classical dispersion relations linear wave excitations. expect temperature STCs will useful tool investigate non-linear physics, they can easily generated manipulated control their spatial temporal structure.

Interaction-driven real-space condensation.
We study real-space condensation in a broad class of stochastic mass transport models. We show that the steady state of such models has a pair-factorized form which generalizes the standard factorized steady states. The condensation in this class of models is driven by interactions which give rise to a spatially extended condensate that differs fundamentally from the previously studied examples...
متن کاملTime-Dependent Real-Space Renormalization Group Method
In this paper, using the tight-binding model, we extend the real-space renormalization group method to time-dependent Hamiltonians. We drive the time-dependent recursion relations for the renormalized tight-binding Hamiltonian by decimating selective sites of lattice iteratively. The formalism is then used for the calculation of the local density of electronic states for a one dimensional quant...
متن کاملTask-space Control of Electrically Driven Robots
Actuators of robot operate in the joint-space while the end-effect or of robot is controlled in the task-space. Therefore, designing a control system for a robotic system in the task-space requires the jacobian matrix information for transforming joint-space to task-space, which suffers from uncertainties. This paper deals with the robust task-space control of electrically driven robot manipula...

متن کاملSpace-time crystals of trapped ions.
Spontaneous symmetry breaking can lead to the formation of time crystals, as well as spatial crystals. Here we propose a space-time crystal of trapped ions and a method to realize it experimentally by confining ions in a ring-shaped trapping potential with a static magnetic field. The ions spontaneously form a spatial ring crystal due to Coulomb repulsion. This ion crystal can rotate persistent...
